Who might benefit from B complex vitamins?

Most people who eat a varied diet get enough B vitamins from rice, lentils, eggs, fish, meat, milk and vegetables. A B complex may help people who eat very little or follow a restricted diet, older adults, pregnant women under a doctor's guidance, heavy drinkers and people with conditions that affect absorption. • B50 and B100: these labels mean about 50 mg or 100 mg of most B vitamins, far above daily needs and unnecessary for most people.

B complex with vitamin C

Some formulas add vitamin C, often marketed as "stress" formulas. Vitamin C is easy to get from guava, amla, lemon and other fruit, so the combination is convenient rather than essential.
