Most general surgeons in Bangladesh hold an FCPS (Surgery) or MS (General Surgery), and many perform laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, which usually means smaller cuts, less pain and a shorter hospital stay. Ask your surgeon whether your operation can be done laparoscopically.
